Popular American actor, Terrence Howard, has sent birthday shouts to first son, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, and also revealed plans to visit Uganda soon.

In February of this year, the President’s Office through its Trade and Investment Department began the campaign to engage different American film actors, producers, directors, writers, and marketers, who later promised to come to Uganda this year.

Among these was Terrence Howard.

Others were Cuba Gooding Jr, Robyn Lattaker- Johnson, Ava Hall and HemDee Kiwanuka a US-based Ugandan actor and producer.

At the time, Howard said he is fascinated about coming to Africa to connect with his motherland and share knowledge with the entertainment industry in Uganda.

He expressed interest in working with Uganda’s innovators and partnering with the Ministry of Science, Technology and innovations to push through his passion.

Omari Morocco, another American actor who also featured in Empire has had several trips to Uganda both for pleasure and film-related projects.
