Ray G has described the loss of his second child who died this month, as “the darkest of days” adding the family is still in deep pain.
The baby who was born on December 7 succumbed to what was reported to be health complications. She died twelve days after birth.
At one point, Ray G’s wife, Annabell, posted: “Leaving your home to go to the hospital because your baby isn’t well is the worst.”
Fans and friends have since been condoling with the family.
In his latest post, the Mbarara-based singer said losing his daughter, Kwezi Ireembo Malka, “was the darkest of days in our family, we are still in shock and in deep pain we’ve never felt before”.
He said the family did everything possible to save their baby but God chose to take her back.
“The little girl really tried her best. she was strong and she will forever be remembered as (KIM) one of us. Because of the love we felt in her presence for those beautiful 12 days,” the singer wrote in a post.
He thanked everyone who supported them in their effort to save the baby and those that sent them love after losing her.
“We are feeling the love. Together we will cry our eyes out, grieve, hug, love one another harder and get through this. You keep giving us reasons to thank God for many other good things he has done and still doing for us.”
Ray G and Annabell, have an eleven months old daughter.
