Bobi Wine has come out to congratulate wife, Barbra ‘Barbie’ Itungo expressing how much he’s proud of her after she graduated from University of London.
Barbie was part of the freshest cohort of graduands of University of London where she attained a Masters Degree of Arts in Human Rights.
On Friday, her husband, Afro Pop singer Bobi Wine posted saying Barbie is an inspiration to the girls.

Other celebrities like Spice Diana, Lillian Mbabazi, Judith Heard, Pia Pounds, Karole Kasita and Irene Namatovu among others reacted to Barbie’s post on Instagram, congratulating her.
For the better part of her life, Barbie, 39, has been proactively involved in social work, a field in which she holds a Bachelors Degree from Makerere University.
She has championed rights for girls as well as women and won a number of awards for her civic role. The mother of four has been vocal about the need for a debate on domestic violence, sexual harassment, labor extortion and human trafficking that are problematic in Uganda.
While on the campaign trail with Bobi Wine who contested for President of Uganda in the recent elections, Barbie used the opportunity to raise issues affecting women across the country. She said the current government has not done enough to improve women’s way of living.
Barbie runs Caring Hearts Uganda, an NGO she founded in 2013 with a focus on HIV/AIDS and cancer awareness, girl child education.
Through her charity, she teaches girls traditional values, malaria eradication, life-long education, personal development and entrepreneurial skills to promote sustainable development for the youths.
