NTV Uganda host and news anchor, Raymond Mujuni and Rita Kanya are set to say their wedding vows this Saturday.
Plugged has learnt that the pair is in the final preparations to have their wedding on Saturday October 30, two weeks after a traditional ceremony where her parents gave her away for marriage.
Mujuni is a journalist and hosts NTV Uganda’s Fourth Estate program while Rita is a news anchor on the same TV.
Their affair became public in April this year when Mujuni proposed to Rita. Little is known about when they started dating considering the two live very private lives. Each of their Instagram accounts is private.

Photos of the celebrated investigative journalist on one knee popping the question to Rita spread fast on social media, prompting hilarious banter about workplace love relationships.
Tweeps would use the moment to sarcastically punch holes in the common rigid stance that most work place apply to love affairs between staff.
Nation Media General Manager Editorial, Daniel Kalinaki, who is the couple’s boss, too dug in on the sarcasm, while congratulating them.
Rita, Raymond come see me in my office on Monday morning. Bring your parents or guardians. https://t.co/NjWQMZZHSV

Commenting on the engagement, Rita posted saying every road led her “to this YES”.
A month later, in May, Mujuni was introduced to Rita’s parents in a ceremony traditionally known in the Bafumbira culture as ‘Gufata Irembo’ (to take the gate), when the father of the potential groom, or a special envoy selected by the family, visits the girl’s father to declare the intention of his son to marry their daughter.
This Saturday, the couple will say their vows and also host family, friends and loved ones to celebrate their union.
