Former Miss Uganda, Dorah Mwima, has welcomed her fifth child.
Mwima who was Miss Uganda 2008 delivered her baby on Wednesday, according to a post she made on Instagram. She posted a photo of her lying with the newly born in hospital, along with her Lebanese husband, Nader Barrak.
Together, the couple have four children, including the latest whom she said, in May this year, they would name “Okello”.
In recent months, the philanthropist and founder of Dorah Mwima Foundation has been posting videos of her routines to keep physically active and in shape for a safe delivery.
She also shared regular tips with fellow bumpers through videos of her doing physicals as well as recommending some of her wellness products.
Earlier on Thursday, Dorah had shared a photo of what seemed a new look (hair), hinting on how she had dolled herself up for labor.
In August, the former beauty queen teased that this could be the last baby she is having.
Her oldest son, Ethan who is 11, isn’t Barrak’s. She had him with deceased singer, Mowzey Radio.
The latest baby won’t be the only highlight Dorah will be celebrating this year. In May, she launched her wellness products line, Queen Ma, for mothers in preconception, prenatal and early motherhood.
Dorah and Barrak have been married since 2013 having met in 2010 while they both worked for Darling Hair Extensions in Kampala.
Barrak had just been posted from Lebanon to Uganda as the general manager of Darling Hair Extensions.
Dorah was executive secretary and director of brand.
She would welcome him and later introduce him to the Ugandan social life. The two got closer and eventually started dating.
Together, they have a set of twins, Geovanna Barrak (boy) and Sarafina Barrak (girl). Their eldest child, a girl, is six.
