Wedding bells are sounding for NBS TV anchor, Canary Mugume and his fiancée, Sasha Ferguson, who first made their intentions to tie the knot five months ago.
On Wednesday, Sasha’s friends threw her a bridal shower in what is the ultimate hint that the wedding day is closing in. The two are set to walk down the aisle on Saturday, and many will be waiting with bated breath. The couple will host their guests to a reception at Speke Resort Munyonyo.
In her Instagram post, Sasha had kind words for her squad whom she said believe in her and think she deserves the world.
Canary proposed to long-time girlfriend in April of this year and would a month later be introduced to Sasha’s parents.
The two have been dating for the last six years having met while Sasha was still working as a teens show presenter on WBS TV. She was 17.
“We met when I was still at WBS TV and he was with Buzz Events company. They came to the station to promote a teens show and was asked to handle them. That was our beginning,” she said in a previous interview.
She would later get a United Nations (UN) gig and leave the country.
Lately, she’s preoccupied with the real estate business which she co-owns with the mother, as well as charity work.
