Singer Bobi Wine made a glowing note to wife Barbie for her 39th birthday, telling her the world would never be the same for him had she not been born.
The Afro-pop singer and Barbie have been together for ten years now and have four children together. Wine, a riff raff pursuing his Music Dance and Drama degree at Makerere University at the time, met Barbie when she was in high school and their love story would begin.
He has previously said he got her from church where she was in the choir. And he has never shied away from crediting her for turning him into the responsible man he later became.
On Tuesday, the singer-cum-politician posted: “This world would never be the same if you were not born, atleast not for me. The world will never know how much of an inspiration you are to me. You transformed me and gave me a new meaning of life. You have been the wind beneath my wings every time I fly”.
He went on to call her his number one fan, his cheer leader, his pillar of strength and his ‘bestest’ friend.
Many admire the couple’s love story which has been unshaken, unlike other celebrity couples. Their attraction comes off as effortless and they have not had any controversy, at least that has come out in the public.
“It’s like only yesterday when I set my eyes on you Barbie Kyagulanyi. Since then, my life has never been the same. For all the smiles and frowns, for all the good and bad times, I praise God we’re still the same love birds that made the solemn promise to each other,” Bobi Wine posted.
